Yeast Infections!

The first night of treatment is the worst!! You insert the monistat and in 5 minutes the itching and burning is unbearable! I get yeast infections all the time due to having an IUD and it's so inconvenient and irritating. Does anyone have any ways to make the itching stop or subside some? I've used the anti-itch cream and that helps some but not completely. Help a girl out!
