Do sour things help with nausea?

My OB mentioned this yesterday.

My cousin told me this same thing yesterday it’s something with the citric acid but if you do throw up at least it tastes somewhat better then other food😂🤷🏼‍♀️ but I’ve been struggling with my nausea/throwing up also so I feel ya girl. Starches help also. ❤️

Iv had really bad nausea all day and being sick on a morning, someone suggested sour sweets to me and I found they worked, also sucking on boiled sweets helps me!

Not sure where you live. But they make these preggie drop pops. They are supposed to help the nausea and all the flavors are sour (sour tangerine, sour lemon, sour raspberry, and sour green apple). I used them a few times and it seemed to help. I got them at my local target.

It's helping me, I'm having sour fruits or suck on a lemon slice and it's better for a while.

Grapefruit juice, pickles, olives really anything in vinegar helps my nausea too! So you could try things besides just sour candy.

They can but I didn’t find them super useful personally. It’s worth a try. Someone suggested sour ice breakers mints which is much better for you than a big bag of sour patch kids! I did find preggie pop drops were helpful during my pregnancy with my daughter but my nausea was generally lighter and I just haven’t bought any more this time around because I’m lazy 😂

I clicked haven’t tried it, but then remembered sour patch kids do help me feel better. I always figured it was the sugar, but maybe it’s the sour

I have been drinking water with lemon juice in it and it has made a world of difference.
