Did you have depression with the Nexplanon implant?

I’ve had the implant for a few months now and my depression has gotten so bad. My grades are slipping and I have no motivation to get out of the bed in the mornings. I’m not affectionate to my s/o and I don’t have drive to do much for myself besides sleep. Do you think getting it removed would be the best for me? Has anyone else experienced the same thing? 😞

I had the nexplanon for almost 3 years. I had a therapist after 2 years on the nexplanon because my emotions were everywhere. I didn't want to believe that my bc was causing it.
But ever since getting it out and giving my body a rest from any bc, I feel much better. I don't work with a therapist right now but i can finally say I'm happy. I'm on bc pills now because obviously I don't want babies but my mental health is first and luckily these pills haven't affected it at all.
