I know this is far fetched but any walkers?

Mine has just started taking an interest in crawling, pulling himself up and standing.. but walking seems so far off.

My son crawls backwards but still isn't going forwards. He will also walk but holding our hands. I'm not even thinking/worrying about him walking until his 1st birthday. I just want him to crack this crawling lol!! It's so hard when you read that other babies are doing the things your baby doesn't do and it is very hard to try and not compare. Our baby might not do what another baby does, but our baby might be able to do something else that another baby cant do. Every baby is different and goes at their own pace. I've seen loads on here about babies nodding no and waving and clapping and I was like why the hell isn't my son doing that when I'm doing it every day with him to encourage him? I'm sure he knows how to do it but he would rather laugh at me doing it. But 5am this morning he was waving goodbye over and over and there we have it. Some babies skip crawling and go straight to walking. Some babies stay crawling and wont walk. I think were just so eager to see our babies smash new milestones especially when we see other babies doing it.. But I keep telling myself not to worry and there is no rush. Hes only 8 mo ths old. He will get there.

You never know what could happen lol. One minute they are blobs on the floor then all of sudden within one week they are rolling, scooting and chatting.

My son doesn’t crawl yet, just kind of rotates and moves a few inches that way. But he’s been leaning up against the sofa for a few weeks now and he’s started holding on to the table and “walk” along it a little bit. I feel like he might just skip crawling altogether, doesn’t seem to interest him as much as standing does.

Our daughter stands on her own for brief moments. She’s constantly walking along the couches chasing the dog and has taken a couple steps but really has no clue what she’s doing. We feel like it’s going to be any day now when she just takes off and it seems so soon!!
