I carried the baby, I had preeclampsia, I’m on 4x daily blood pressure meds that are barely keeping me out of the hospital.

He complained my entire 7 day stay in the hospital about how uncomfortable his chair was. 5 of those days our son was there and he barely helped...put his head down and did not move for 8-9 hours overnight as I managed cluster feedings and diapers by myself.

Now I’m home and he sleeps 3-4x as much as I am daily and still he complains how tired he is. He also makes time for his daily workout and playing with the dogs. I’ve caught him asleep holding the baby multiple times or out cold next to the baby who I heard screaming for 10 minutes from across the house while it was my turn to sleep. I finally got up assuming there’d been a diaper blowout but hubby was out cold.

My mom started coming by for a few hours per day just so I can rest without worrying my son would be in danger. The first few days home I slept so little that my blood pressure was 180/120 laying down, higher than it had been when they induced me.

To top it off he’s just acting like a martyr and an asshole. I went to the doctor yesterday for an hour and had to listen to how he’s “a single father caring for the baby while I’m out on the town”. He says he’s joking but he just always says stupid shit with the sole intention of RAISING MY BLOOD PRESSURE!!! Like is he literally trying to kill me? Every day in the hospital they would extend me another day to adjust my meds after a bad pressure check and most of the bad tests were when he was around saying or doing something obnoxious.

So in love with our baby but kind of ready to kill his father.
