Are these things affecting our kids?
See below for the exchange between me and another mom on Facebook. While I do of course agree I’d rather have safety measures than a school shooting, my point is that kids aren’t unaffected by things like having to carry clear book bags, metal detectors, active shooter drills, etc. I have friends who keep their kids home on the
day of active shooter drills because it is so scary for young children. What do you think?
