Child’s father sick before labor?

Did any of your children’s father get very sick before you went into labor??

My bf and I are suppose to be at the hospital Sunday night for me to be induced, we found out yesterday. & all of a sudden this evening since he’s been home he’s been throwing up and diarrhea, but no fever.. I’m thinking it’s not sickness I’m thinking more like nerves that this has really hit him. I don’t know what to do to help him or comfort him.. he’s got a really weak stomach when it comes to stuff like gory movies and such but I know he doesn’t want to physically watch her be born, which is fine bc I’m on the nervous side myself.. but I’m just wondering.. I want to help him the best I can and so he doesn’t freak out during me giving birth. Thanks y’all. First time parents here.
