So I’m breastfeeding my 5 week old but we’re having a bbq today and I’m dying to drink one. Would it be safe or should I just stay away from them completely?

Its safe. As long as you dont get too drunk to nurse properly, you can drink as much as you want.

Yes go for it! You’ll be absolutely fine! I have a very healthy 6ft 3inch 16 year old upstairs whose Mama had a drink or 2 when I breastfed him many moons ago 😄🍸 feed baby, then enjoy your drink x

Definitely okay to have one! I breastfeed baby and then have a glass of wine or a beer all the time! It'll be out of your system by the time baby is ready to feed again. You went all 9 months without drinking. Treat yo' self mama ❤

Doctor told me it’s safe. If you feel like your drunk than don’t breastfeed. But no need to pump and dump either. Just wait till you feel normal again.
