Hi anyone had a baby that is one leg weaker than the other? Is it normal? My baby is 10 months old

I already brought to see the doctor but i just want to know more. He just asks us to see him in 3 months follow up. If u can share ur experiences good/ bad it will be very lovely. Thanking you in advance. 
Being a mother is really tiring even ur emotion. Im constantly worried of my baby and my husband is not very supportive. I think im depressed.

Not sure what state your from, but depending on that, there should be an early intervention program that could get you up and started. I work for Tennessee’s early intervention system and we serve birth to three years old for children with delays or potential delays due to medical things. Hope this helps!

My daughter was diagnosed with low muscle tone. She would kind of drag one leg when she first started walking. She just is a little behind on her physical milestones because of it. She also has hypermobile joints, but I don’t think the two are related.

Good job being on top of your baby’s development, mama! If your doctor said you could follow up in 3 months, it’s likely because any intervention, if it’s necessary, isn’t an emergency. But, if you’re too worried to wait, it couldn’t hurt to get a second opinion. In my experience (my daughter has some developmental delays and medical issues... we’ve been on a wait list for a pediatric PT for like 6 months), any appointment with a specialist will book out a few months, so you could just tell your doctor you’d like a referral now and if it resolves, you’ll cancel the appointment. But try not to worry too much— you’ve already done the most important thing and that is to pay attention and start asking questions!!!

My daughter is one leg weaker then the other. She is now 3 and we do physical therapy for her plus she wears braces on her feet. We have just started to do further testing to see if she has any conditions. But it could just be she is weaker on one leg!
