Mamaroo? What’s your opinion?

I’ve used a different swing for my other two, but after my last was so colicky, I’m wondering if a 4moms mamaroo is worth it?!

So not worth it for us and then my son hated it too.. so yeah I returned it immediately. He preferred the simple graco swing we got. Helped him with colicky problems he had..

My first was super colicky so I decided to fork out the $250 for the mamaroo plus insert with my second. My second is not colicky and he did not care for the swing. Probably used it a dozen times. Most of the time it was on without the baby in it lol. I ended up selling it as he outgrow it by 4 months (already rolling over, the instructions say to stop use at that time or 6 months). I sold it along with my halo 360 bassinet for $200, I spent $500 new for both) Long story short, get a used one for less if you want it.

I did buy an “open box” discounted one for $120! So def didn’t spend a ton.. I’m hoping new baby will like it, but keeping my regular graco swing as backup!

My sister has one and she said her baby didnt like it. Waste of money in my opinion. We were going to buy one until we saw so many reviews saying baby didnt like it. So we got a fisher price cradle swing for half the price and both my last babies absolutely loved it.

I ended up buying one for my 3rd and final baby. Mainly because my older swing is kinda older now and it’s huuuuge. I order the mamaroo because it’s a lot smaller!

My second was colicky and so this is an absolute must have for me.  It soothed my friends colicky son so nicely, I was so jealous!
