Do you agree

So my daughter is in my moms room... and I hear her crying and crying and crying... so I go in there and I ask my daughter what’s wrong. My mother said “ I already told you what’s wrong so what are you asking her for like someone is in here doing something to her”... first off I told her “ I’m not talking to you I’m talking to my child and asking her why she is crying “. So my mother is gonna tell me she doesn’t have to answer to me about why she’s crying, she’s her grandmother. I said yes you do have to answer to me if it’s about my child. She said no she don’t. And basically we just got into an argument because she’s telling me she don’t have to tell me why my child is crying. Is she stupid or what.
