How many times?

So kind of new to this OPK and I was wondering how many times a day do you test and when should we be BD’ing? 😊

Answer

With opk’s, never use FMU (unless instructed in the instructions). Choose two times between 10 AM and 8 PM that you can test at every day at the SAME two times (so you don’t miss your surge); and use a 4 hour pee hold each time (and do not drink a lot of water during the hold times). Once the test line is as dark as, or darker than, the control line - you have a positive. Once you get a positive, ovulation will occur within 12-36 hours; and the egg - once released - will be viable for 12-24 hours.
Start BD every other day either after your period ends, or starting from day 1 of your fertile week. And once you get a positive opk, BD that day and the 2-3 days after.

I use the clear blue advanced.. you can use fmu and it’s overall easier because it’s digital..  but that’s Just me.
