Baby born at 36 weeks does he need to be in the nicu?

Has anyone had to have a baby be induced at 36 weeks and if so did he have to stay in the nicu?

Depends on baby’s weight, how he is eating, breathing and maintaining temp. My son was born at 36 weeks 6 days so technically 37 and was able to leave with me after our two day stay in the hospital

My daughter was born the day I turned 36 weeks and she was fine. No nicu, but the hospital staff did treat her like a premature baby(which she was even tho she was fine). She had to have a special hearing test and they checked her sugar more

My daughter was born 35 weeks but honestly i think she was further because i waited to get prenatal care. But she didnt stay in the nicu at all

My cousin's baby was born at 34 weeks and didn't need much of a nicu stay. He was a little bit weak but after monitoring him for a while determined he was fine. My husband was born at 36 weeks and had to have lunch surgery and almost died because his lungs weren't fully developed. Every baby is a little different
