Which was used to determine your due date?

I was just curious, being that my due dates based on the ultrasound and my LMP are about a week apart. The doctor I see still refers to my LMP due date but I would think that the ultrasound would be more accurate.

Typically they do your LMP because not all babies grow the same. They have charts and all that but your baby is different then everyone else’s. As long as it’s in the ball park of the chart you are good but they normally go by LMP because everyone grows different it’s not an exact science.

My doctor said if it’s within a week, LMP is better to base off of. If it’s over a week difference, they’ll go by dating ultrasound. My due date is Oct 5th, but if I went off my Ultrasound it would be Oct 10th.

I voted lmp but I meant ultrasound. My lmp said the 4th but ultrasound said 5th only one day off but my doctor said the ultrasound is more accurate so we go with that

I was only measuring 4 days behind but they told me "that would put your due date at about November 10th instead". So I changed it on the app

They use your last period until they date you on your ultrasound

I thought I was 5+ weeks pregnant due to my last period but my first ultrasound said I was only 4 weeks, they said my due date was may the 26th but then it changed to June the 3rd and my daughter came on the 9th of June 😊

First LMP, then ovulation date, then ultrasound.  I went from 10/13 to 10/11 to 10/9 😂

When I had my ultrasound my baby measured 8 weeks 5 days, and by LMP I was 8 weeks 1 day and my dr said that since it’s not more than 5 days more or less than LMP, she wasn’t going to change it

My doctor goes off last period. I was measuring smaller but he still went with it because it was just a couple days off. I think it depends on HOW different the two dates are.
