Stressed about space?

ALORA • BOY MOM 💙 12•14•19

I live in a very small one bedroom apartment. My rent is 320$ a month and we pay (husband and I) anywhere from 40-80$ in electric each month. We love it, originally started sleeping on an air mattress and we have SERIOUSLY upgraded. I even got approval from my mother at thanksgiving it was wonderful and that’s not the easiest thing to do. Needless to say, she doesn’t lie. Hahah, ANYWAYS it’s a one bedroom and our closet is only big enough for my husbands clothes (barely) I have a makeshift dresser off to the side I kinda just throw my clothes on. It’s not perfect but it works.

I have plenty of time to get another place I’m just stressed out and not sure what to do. We love having cheap rent because it allows us to fix our car when we need to, travel, fly, eat good, have nice clothes, phones, etc. but I really would love a house. My husband would love a garage for his car.

At least a 2 bedroom. We could easily find a house near by or in the country for 500$... I’m just really overwhelmed. Paying more than 320$ stresses me out when we easily make sometimes 6000$ a month off my income ALONE. Why?! We both work from home and sell custom art work but never had made less that 1200$ a month. How do people save money?!

I’m just venting no one gives a damn I’m sure, I just am still trying to figure out this whole adult thing... I’m 20.. going to be 21 in August, my credit isn’t the best not sure what it would be combined with my husbands but... BLAH. Getting approved for a house may not be likely but how hard could it be if the house is only 500$?

Do I stay crammed and risk it with baby or take the plunge and spend a little more monthly?

Moving is hard for my husband (not for me) but his habits rub off on me, we’re comfortable but I’m sure we won’t be after baby... what would you do?
