Is there every a right time to have a baby?

Question

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 7 years! We want to wait to get married then have a baby immediately right after (like both of our parents) but we’re finding that we’re waiting too long(entering our 30s at the end of the year!😭)
He wants to be “financially” ready but I’m saying we can do it because we make enough to live comfortable and by that, we started investing our money into stocks) We live in the Bay Area of SF, so it’s expensive af here. We have a home together but we live with some roommates. We could take over the house ourselves but the roommates are his family so we don’t want to be rude so it’s okay for right now since we don’t have kids but they will eventually will leave when we do. We’re planning our first baby, and each month it’s getting to the point where we might say let’s make a baby but he’s says theirs a right time for it and we should wait a little longer. So that’s my question, is there a right time to have a baby? 😬

Have never hard more trouble voting than on this. There is a right time and there isn't. 
I find 1. A child should be brought into a stable relationship. Which you seem to have. 
2. One should be old and mature enough. Which you are
3. One should be able to give the child at least the basic needs. Which u can. 
That to me is the right time. But anyone can still make it if the above are not in place but it would be harder for both parent and child. 
Reason I say there is never a right time. Is we are humans. There will always be STH in our lives that just doesn't fall in place. It is ok to be concerned. But you can't keep holding off a baby because you want everything to be perfect because it will never be. Though you can choose as a couple what are the basics. For me, it was the above 3. And trust me, after being married for 3 years and being old and mature enough, I still didn't feel ready. Not everything had fallen into place. Somehow my husband is still doing his PhD which feels like school as his only income was due to scholarship the first months of our pregnancy. I on the other hand continued school too and part time worked. So you can imagine the dilemma. But guess what! These reasons after a while became too small n we just did it. There is something about having a child that even pushes you to work harder. 3 months into our pregnancy he got a job as a professor as he continues his studies and I finished my last lectures so I increased my working days. Our finances are better. We moved houses. And we wouldn't be happier having our first baby. Has everything fallen into place? Not yet. But the basics are there and that matters. The rest fell in place during pregnancy and continues to. So don't be afraid. For me, the game changer was to relay on God to be with us through all the seasons and he has. Opportunities showed up from no where. Things we used to be concerned about... We are glad we did it. It took us some courage and long debating to make this choice but we finally did and it was the best.

There will always be an excuse NOT to. You can try to prepare and get ready as much as possible, but it’ll never be perfect or easy. 
I always said I wanted to wait until I was about 30, but after I got married and settled into our life a bit, I got baby fever HARD. So, we’re ttc a couple years earlier than I originally planned. 
So, go with your heart.. I think emotional readiness is more important than anything

I don’t really think so. Especially since even when you do start trying it’s not a guarantee that it’ll happen right away anyway or if you don’t try at all it could also happen it’s no way to actually 100% plan it. I think when you are stable with your partner & by stable I mean all around the board stable (financially, mentally, etc) you should go for it. Me & my fiancé could wait until marriage & wait 5 more years when we’ll both be at a peak in our careers but we are stable & ready now & a child will not hinder that it will only help us but everyone is different it’s whatever works for you guys.

There is never a right time. My SO & I have waited til we have a stable home we've purchased, we are having problems conceiving & it's not good.
There is never a right time. You just make it work xx
