Am I overfeeding?

My little one is turning 2 months on May 22nd he is drinking 2oz of breastmilk and right after 4oz of formula he doesn’t spit up or throw it up I tried giving g him less but he just cries and cries everyone keeps telling me I’m over feeding him and are quick to judge how much is your little one eating?

I know a women who’s baby was eating 6oz very 3hrs at 1 month. Every baby is different and your babe might also be going through a growth spurt so he may eat more during it then level out afterwards. That’s how my daughter is 🤷🏽‍♀️

My almost 5 week old is eating 4.5-5oz every 3 hours except at night he will eat 5-6oz then sleep for 5 hours. If your baby isn’t throwing up after a feeding then he’s fine. Every baby is different. My first boy was the same and was never a fat baby. He was always tall and is still slim and tall at 9 years old. Ignore them- you know what’s best.

Listen to your baby not some judgemental people.

They will throw up if it’s too much. If he wants more that’s fine, don’t listen to people’s judgement you know what’s best for your baby

Well every baby is different but that seems like a lot for a 2 month old.

My babies would sometimes eat 7 to 8 oz (breastmilk  and formula) over the span of 2 hours in the evening at 1 month. Eventually they got over cluster feeding and by 3 months we stopped supplementing with formula entirely because they were back to amount.

How many feeds per day? Helps to know how much in 24 hours he's getting.
