Will my Vagina tighten back up??

Question

So I had sex for the first time today, 6 weeks and 2 days pp. It felt lose to me. And my husband said “yeah there’s definitely more room there now”. 
I had a natural birth with no stitches. Will my vag tighten back up? 
I’ve read posts from ladies that tore and were stitched saying they are now super tight.. am I lose because I got stretched and didn’t need stitches 😳😳😳😳

Kegals, kegals, kegals!! Your vagina is a muscle, give it time and it’ll go back. 6 weeks is awfully soon to be having sex..though everyone is different! I didn’t have sex until I was almost 4 months post partum and I was super tight! I did lots of kegals just to build my pelvic floor muscles again and it helped out in many ways. Worth a shot!!

Yes it will! Surprised your hubby said something lol! After my son I could tell the sex sucked for my hubby the first time or 2, but he didn't say anything... would've made me feel worse 😩

It will tighten up naturally but likely won’t go back to prebaby normal unless you do your Kegels. The women who had tears and got stitched may think they feel tighter but that tightness wouldn’t be felt by their partners. Vaginal tightness comes from the inside and the only way to tighten it up is by working those muscles. Read up on proper way to do your Kegels and you’ll start feeling a difference.

It has nothing to do with babies size or whatnot. It’s all to do with muscle tone, you can do Kegals and look into pelvic floor physio.

I think a lot of it has to do with the size of the baby’s head. With all 3 of my girls it was immediately the same right after I had them. With my son #3 out of the 4 it definitely felt different. I want to say it was around 5-6 months postpartum when it went back to normal for me

You will tighten back up, I needed two stitches for a couple small cuts up but that didn’t affect my tightens since I didn’t tear. 
My fiancé says I feel the same as I did before and said at 6 weeks it was a little looser

Do your vaginal workouts. . Also get a vaginal steam done. That helps a lot with tighting.

Yes definitely! It for sure took me longer than 6 weeks to tighten all the way back up, maybe like a full 3 months or something. My boyfriend says now I don't feel any different than before and I'm 8 months pp
