Happy 9 months baby boy 💙

Woke up at 5.20 and by 5.30am I had uncontrollable shakes and a sore left boob! Had to go to the maternity unit to see nhs24 gp to confirm mastitis 😭 first time in 9 months!

I couldn't stop vomiting when I sipped water so had to get an anti sickness jab. He also said for me NOT to feed on left side with it being infected....which is totally wrong advice from nhs24 website. I read to keep feeding on that side and use warm compresses, not using cold compresses and not feed on that side! Phoned the maternity unit again to confirm his advice was wrong and they said yes keep feeding on that side and use heat. Kinda pee'd off at that young male doctor tbh.

Hubby's had to take the rest of the week off because theres no way I've the energy to watch LO. Just want to sleep and feel like I've been hit by a ten ton truck.

Happy 9 months mummy....here have mastitis. 😭

Hoping for a speedy recovery as I miss LO already doing day to day activities. Can barely lift my head up 😟
