My fiancé is going in the army as an officer soon.

I’m new to all the military stuff but my fiancé is taking all his test now to go in the army as an officer. His top job choice will be MP and second in different types of Infantry. He is in a corporate job now and hates it so this is his choice to make his life happy. We are getting married before he goes with just a simple ceremony. We had plans to do a bigger wedding next year but now with this job change we will do it before. I’m really nervous and do not know what to expect.. I have a 15 year old son with special needs that is so used to being close to my family and I’ve never lived more than an hour away. Just looking for advise really. Where are army MPs being deployed if based at now the most (if that’s a question that can be answered) and also with Infantry. Hoping this goes smoother than I am thinking it will.
