Cracked itchy bleeding nipples ? Help!!

Ive been dealing with this for like 4 months now. I went to the doctor last week and she said its possibly thrush but doesn’t know for sure so prescribed a thrush cream to use for one week. It didn’t help.. I’m not sure what to do ? I’m breastfeeding my 5 month old daughter and she doesn’t have any signs of thrush..just a whitish tongue which I heard is normal in babies.

Hmm I mean babies can give themselves a drool rash, I wonder if your nips are just sensitive to constant saliva and maybe it’s like a drool rash!?! This gotta be super annoying and uncomfortable 😭

I would suggest seeing a lactation consultant. They are a God send when it comes to nursing. Some insurances will even cover the visit as a postpartum service, and some will work on a sliding scale so that everyone can get the help they need. The first thing that comes to mind is a latch issue because if they dont have a good latch then they are pretty much just pinching your nipple every time they suck. I had painful nipples for about 3 weeks but after that, no pain (EBF for 8 months now). Good luck!

Mothers love nipple cream every time your done nursing is what cleared up my nipples from being shredded and bleeding from my first and I used it everytime with my second and never had an issue. It will definitely take time to heal if you have open wounds on your nipples

Girl all you need is some nipple cream it’s safe for baby so she can eat while you are wearing it .. I don’t have this problem but I have heard it to help and that that is what it is for
