Is the death penalty Inhumane?

Now I know there’s some crimes that are deserving of death But honestly I don’t feel that as humans we have the authority nor right to kill other humans no matter what they do. I do I have a think humans that are criminals should be offered something different other than the death penalty. No one is God no human should be allowed to kill another human or anything no matter what. Because honestly that’s just legal murder.

Unless the human is a rapist or murderer!

Because I must say if anyone raped or rapes my ppl god willing I will be getting the death penalty cuz imma kill them lol.
