Are pack & play sheets necessary?

I don’t think you absolutely have to have them, but they are useful if Baby has a blowout or spits up since cleaning the pack n play pad is a pain. I found a 2 pack of play yard sheets on clearance at Walmart for $2! I bought 6 of them lol of course we are using ours as baby’s main sleeping area for a while.

We used our pack n play for all sleep for almost 2 years and let me say yes sheets and/or a waterproof protector is necessary. Not just for leaky diapers but also drool. The only way to wash the mattress is in a bathtub and even then it doesn’t get entirely clean/sanitized.

I got a fitted sheet cause I was told once my baby have a blow out, it’s easier to clean a sheet than the mattress.

I think a waterproof sheet is most necessary for the reasons other women have said because most pack n play mattresses are cardboard.

Yes, especially if you plan to ever give little one a bottle or juice cup when sitting in it. Or diaper blow outs or spit up.

I have to get them because the daycare baby will be attending requires that they have them for napping, otherwise I don’t think I’d get them.

I would not say necessary, but nice. The 'mattress' cannot really be washed other than wiping it down and the sheets can obviously be taken off and washed.
