PLEASE HELP!! Everything is going wrong....

A very old friend of mine is in labor right now. This is her first baby and she had a beautiful birth plan. She’s been coming to me for advice for a few months, but everything is going wrong.

Her plan was to stay at home and birth in water with her midwife, but at 40+4 her blood pressure was so high they made her go to the hospital.

That was yesterday. Since then she’s tried two different methods of induction, including non-medication, but they gave her Pitocin and now her laboring has stopped. She says it’s probably going to be a c-section and she...

She’s so upset. I can only imagine how much. She didn’t want this at all and I don’t know what to say to her.

I’ve heard stories about bad birth experiences and I don’t want this to ruin her motherhood one.

Is there ANYTHING I can do for her?!
