Braxton Hicks or round ligament pain?

First pregnancy. And I’ve been having this tight pain on the left side of my stomach, for over 8 hours now. Comes and goes every 5-10 minutes and it hurts so bad i feel like i need to cry, scream out in pain and stop what I’m doing. I had to leave work because of it. Should i be concerned? Go to the ER? Just rest? Is it contractions or round ligament pain?

How far along are you? If its that bad you should call your ob.

Generally BH shouldnt hurt, they are def uncomfortable but shouldnt be painful enough to make you want to cry. Also, round ligament pain FOR ME personally has only been when I move from laying to standing or one position to another while laying.
If you are in that much pain for that long I was def call your doctor or even the on-call doc at the hospital. Better safe than sorry!

You should be calling your doctors office. That’s what they’re there for, to answer any questions that you may have . considering that these side pains haven’t gone away I would be on the phone right now.
