So I thought I was leaking all day yesterday and I went to the doctors office today. The midwife explained to me how they test with litmus paper to see if the liquid is acidic or alkaline. And that amniotic fluid is alkaline. Mine came back acidic, so it was a false alarm. After that I decided to buy my own litmus paper from Walmart to avoid more false alarm trips to the doctor. We’ll sure enough I felt I was leaking a lot again. I tested the liquid in my underwear and it came back super alkaline. I thought maybe it was a dud, so I had my husband test his urine, which came back very acidic. I’m lost and don’t know what to do, I was just tested for fluid leaking TODAY and it was negative. What should I do at this point??
