Let's talk birth control.

My son will be 2 on June 6th and I've been on the nuvaring since November 2017. I get a yearly supply every January so with that said, I am starting to think the ring isn't working for me. I went for my renewal on January 30th of this year & when I put in my new ring, I've lost all interest in being intimate. I just thought maybe it was the stress of just moving into our apartment (January 2nd), but it's still going on. We haven't been intimate in almost 6 months! This is HORRIBLE. With that said, we have TRIED to be intimate & it is VERY painful, I feel like my insides are being ripped from the inside out, I feel like my cervix has dropped because we can't even go a little more than just super slow without hurting up in that area. I just made an appointment with my OB so I'll be discussing this with her . I'm considering switching birth controls and seeing if that helps? Any suggestions? I won't use the depo shot because I've heard enough horrible things about it to make me not want it. I'm sorry to have gotten into so much detail but this is what I've been dealing with since January! Should I just go off of birth control entirely? It's an option, but I've been nervous to not be on birth control as I've always had heavy and irregular periods, like dripping down my legs heavy. Tmi, I'm sorry! Any advice is appreciated
