Transitioning to whole milk?

My son is almost 11 months and I was just wondering how you guys made the transition to whole milk or anything else! I was thinking of trying the Enfamil Toddler Transitions but I'm not too sure. Any tips to make this easier would be appreciated :)

We asked our pediatrician this yesterday. She said we can give him straight whole milk as long as he takes it. If he doesn’t, then we can blend it with formula and gradually take him off formula. We’re going to try replacing one formula feeding at a time. I just bought a can of formula and my goal is that’s the last one we buy!

We started with 1/4 milk mixed with 3/4 formula for a week. The next week we did half and half. The next week 1/4 formula with 3/4 milk and then just milk.
