My son is missing an artery in his cord and I’m almost 33 weeks pregnant. They are doing weekly scans because the bigger he gets the more inclined he is to defects (if he gets any) so far the only thing they THINK he will have is a hole in his heart but all of my doctors insured me it’s a normal thing and it would close on its own if he has it!

My question is, my doctor said once he is born they will want to check him head to toe to make sure there is nothing wrong they didn’t catch on the ultrasounds. How long will my son have to be at the hospital? Will it just take an hour or less or days to check him all over?
