Clearblue opk + letrozole = confusion
After my last missed miscarriage, my cycles have been irregular (37 days, 19 days, 19 days) so I was put on Letrozole/femara this month to help me ovulate.
For the past three days (CD 9-11) I’ve gotten a flashing smiley face on the clearblue digital test, indicating I will ovulate soon.
Today, CD12, I went to the OBGYN for an ultrasound to see my response to the meds. I showed a large follicle and he said I could expect to ovulate in 2 -3 days.
However, immediately after I went to do my clearblue test (I had to pick up more from the pharmacy) and it showed up as negative. This was at 11 am, not first morning urine, but second urine of the day with minimal drinks.
Had I not had an ultrasound, I would have assumed I missed my peak and left it at that. But how could I show almost ovulating to negative when I can clearly see it’s on its way?
