How quickly to babies grow?

This is my first and i’ve been like obsessed with buying clothes and most of what i’ve bought was used and cheap anyways like hand me downs from people but I dont wanna buy more than necessary. I have probably 100 things ranging from NB to 0-3 months but not many 6-9 months and so on. I hear they grow quick and grow out of newborn stuff rather quickly but as far as 0-3 months I dont know if I need more stuff than I have or not.. I dont have too much but even if I did a new outfit every day wouldnt hurt right? 😭😭

My daughter never fit into NB clothing at all. We took her home in 0-3. She grew out of those quickly too. I’d would say by 6m she was already into 9m clothing and at a year 18m clothing. She’s slowed down a lot now 2 years in 2/3T clothing.

My son never fit in newborn. He just turned a year old and maybe has 100 outfits/ pieces total from his first year and didn’t wear a lot of them.

Possibly consider swapping out sizes if the clothes still have tags? You don’t need a ton of newborn. 
0-3 month size: 6-8 onesies, 3-4 pants, 4-5 sleepers should do the trick. Adjust depending on how much laundry you want to do during the week. That should get you to laundry every 3 days or so.

100 seems like too much. I think they are in newborn the shortest amount of time. I think you should stick to around 20 outfits per size depending on how you do laundry. You can always mix and match things to make new outfits. And since we are having summer babies, they will more than likely spend most of their time in just onsies so maybe focus more on the bigger sizes that baby will wear during fall/winter
