My daughter had her 9 month appointment today. Her head circumference percentile has been dipping lower and lower. At 6 months, she was in the 28th percentile and today she’d dropped down to the 17th percentile (42.6 cm). She isn’t following the growth curve she’d initially set (see pic). However, she is meeting the vast majority of her developmental milestones and the doctor told me not to worry (yet). But of course I can’t help but worry! If it dips down to the 10th percentile or lower we will have to see a specialist... anyone else’s kiddo have a small head circumference? How did things pan out? Am I worrying needlessly?
