Hello everyone, I went to the ER yesterday with a bad headache and spots in my vision. I'm currently 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I thought my blood pressure was high but islt wasnt and the lady who did my vitals never even took my temp (I felt on fire but freezing so I possibly had a fever) and she used the previous person's temp in my chart. That was worrisome since I really felt like I ran a marathon. The doctor I had was very very odd and seemed almost clueless or something. He wanted an immediate CT scan and MRI of my head even though he said it could harm the baby. I convinced him to check the baby first as i was more worried my blood pressure was high and it affected them or they were in distress. The baby was perfectly fine but I asked for something basic to help with the headache if anything since I took nothing in the 10 hour span of having it on and off. He decided no i needed tylenol with codine (I didnt know what it was till after I took it. I thought it was just generic tylenol) and when i looked it up they said it could be harmful to a fetus. Now I'm completely worried that it could of harmed my baby and they sent me home with some. I decided to leave without the other scans because he was crazy weird and seemed almost high on something. Any advice would be great because I'm a nervous wreck.
