How long did it take to conceive after m/c?

I recently had a miscarriage and one doctor said try again right away and another said wait at least 3 month. What are your experiences?

It’s easier to date a subsequent pregnancy if you wait at least until you get your first period after miscarriage. Whether you should wait longer likely depends on how early the miscarriage was, if you need a D&C, etc.

From my experience, in Oct, I had a blighted ovum then miscarried from that. I was told by an ER doctor that I can try right away and my midwife suggested me to wait for a few months so I decided to take her advice and I didn’t get to try right away. Then I got my period in four weeks after the MC. We didn’t actively try for two months then in Jan, I got pregnant unexpectedly because our bodies can be super fertile after the miscarriage. Anyways, it’s up to you if you want to try right away then go for it or if not, that’s okay to wait until you are 100% ready to try again.

I had one is April. My doctor said to atleast wait until my hcg was back at 0. That did stop my husband and I trying. Today is now 6 weeks since my miscarriage and got my period yesterday. Last bloodwork done May 16 hcg was at 14. I’m assuming it’s at 0 now. Good luck to you

My husband and I had our first MC July 2018, got pregnant again on Oct., and had our second MC in Nov. 2018. My OBGYN is still telling us to try! Good luck, keep the faith🤞🏼
