IUI and Ulcerative Colitis

I'm starting my first cycle of IUI this month and am being loaded up with a crazy amount of meds to prep for the treatment. Having UC has put me in the mindset that I need to avoid everything but Tylenol. My doctor said the Asacol isn't safe to take while TTC, and dealing with the UC symptoms is worth it, of course, if this brings us a baby. I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there who is dealing with UC and fertility treatment. How did you cope? How did your body cope?
