I exclusively breastfeed my daughter, but she is SO gassy. She shows no other signs of dairy allergy, so we don’t believe it is that. We have never done a great job of burping her. Now I have been committed to burping her. I try to burp her about halfway through nursing and then after. The problem is...she never burps halfway through...and a lot of times she falls asleep. I still try to burp her while she is asleep, but no luck. I put her on my shoulder, sit her up on my lap, lay her on my lap, I have tried it all. I don’t know what to do. When she doesn’t burp she wakes up crying with gas pain. Any suggestions? 😞
