Has anybody had a baby who walked before they crawled? Or anyone who suspects their baby will do this?

My son drags himself on his tummy but much prefers to walk with guidance, and can take a few steps by himself. He hates being on his tummy! Looks like he’ll probably walk before he crawls.

People keep voicing concern about this, as they say that crawling is very important developmentally. I asked his doctor and she said as long as your baby is figuring out a way to be mobile then it’s fine

Just curious how common this is and what other people think!
