Hubby and I went to the hospital earlier because contractions were about 5 min apart, lasting a minute, for a few hours. Was watched for an hour and unfortunately stayed at 3cm the entire time (Although they said I was definitely getting consistent contractions). They decided to give me a shot for pain relief and sent us home to come back if it gets closer together or more intense. The shot gave me maybe an hour of less painful contractions but wasn't able to sleep.

Now, my contractions are SOOOO much worse. Im trying to let hubby get some sleep but they're in my spine and abdomen and I'm barely breathing through them. They're now averaging just about a minute each and 4 minutes apart and I shake uncontrollably after each one. I'm not sure if I should go back, considering I was sent home only about 2.5 hours ago.

I don't know how women do this without pain medicine. You all are amazing. I feel like death! 😭😭

**We were admitted! Currently at a 5cm 80% effaced. Hoping to hold out to a 6 to get the epidural. I should get to hold my baby today at 40+4!!**
