Anyone else have POTS?

Just curious if there are any other ladies on here with POTS? Has it had an impact on TTC or pregnancy?

I have POTS and have been diagnosed for 13 years. At my preconception with MFM and in talking with my cardio, they both said 1st trimester will be rough, but the increased blood volume later in the pregnancy usually helps women with POTS. I have it secondary to Elhers Danlos Hypermobility. I had a miscarriage about a year and a half ago and my dizziness was much worse during those few weeks. The miscarriage sent me back into a flare where I had to get put back on meds. I think it just depends on the person and pregnancy...

I have POTS and we just got our BFP after TTC for almost 2 years. I just saw cardiology yesterday and he actually told me POTS seems to get better during pregnancy. Sending all of you sticky baby dust 😘

I have POTS. I'm TTC and at my preconception visit with the maternal fetal medicine specialist (I think that was what he's called? he's for high risk pregnancies) he said my POTS will get much worse during pregnancy.

I've been told I'm high risk and my heart rate makes it more difficult to stay pregnant. Basically they have told me it's a guessing game, my symptoms may stay the same or get worse.

I have pots as well... The last pregnancy was hard due to constant near blackouts upon standing. No one has said I would be high risk if I'm pregnant ... so would I seek out a high risk Dr?... We are ttc for #3
