Lunch meat?

Has anyone eaten lunch meat and been fine. I just had a salad with turkey and totally forgot about it until my mother in law pointed it out! I'm nervous!

I ate turkey deli meat a few times now no problem!

I eat it whenever the mood should strike. Hello, jimmy johns! This is one if the food no no's I've decided isn't worth following. I've looked at recent incidences of listeria poisoning and it seems to come from fresh fruits and vegetables more often than lunch meat.
