How long did you wait until you told family

I’m 6 weeks and 4 days today I found out exactly one week ago. My partner wants to wait until we are 8 weeks to tell family we don’t have our first doctors appointment until Monday June 3rd. He works away week on week off. He was home when we found out but he’s away now. I feel so emotional today and sick and I feel like I need to tell my family so I can have some support while he is away. I’ve told him we are telling my parents this Friday and I CANNOT WAIT!
