Reasons for inductions ?

i’m so over being pregnant , i will NOT do anything at home to “induce my labor” the only time i’ll be induced is if it’s with medical supervision 🤣🤣🤣 this is my first baby , i’m 38w2d and i’m so over it , when i see how women are gettin induced i get so jelly because i’m ready to meet my pumpkin !!! but anyways what would reasons be to get induced the drs don’t mention nothing about inductions for me at each visit ?? 
so my question is what are reasons to be induced .

Some doctors induce if you go past your due date, if you have gestational diabetes, or preeclampsia.

I got induced with my first and actually regret having to have it done, I had to due to reduced movements but my body wasn't physically ready, I had a really hard time and hope this time I get to do it myself without having to be put on pictocin. I just had loads of issues through the whole birth 😂

Normally the only reasons you would get induced is if it’s medically necessary for you or your baby, like preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, IGUR, all high risk, which consider yourself lucky if you don’t have any of that. I’m getting induced because I’m having twins

Seriously you are jealous of those getting induced? Induction is normally due to medically necessary and nothing to be jealous of. It’s because the baby needs to come ASAP and may need nicu care! I had one preterm due to she stopped growing and this time because of a dangerous kink in my cord I’ll be induced.

I was induced for reduced movements. It ended in an emergency C-section because baby just wasn't ready and never descended. After a long time at 10cm trying to get her to move down, her heart rate started to become an issue and an emergency C-section was the only option at that point.

Also, everything that you can try at home like RaspberryLeaf tea, bouncing on a ball, walking, stairs, sex, eating hot stuff, etc.  It doesn’t actually induce labor, if it did this baby would of been our a while ago. However, walking, bouncing on a ball, stairs, and sex can help drop your baby a little faster then if you just lay around hoping for labor to start. Lastly, if your doctor allows it, you could be induced at 39 weeks without medical reason. Doctors don’t really like doing this because induction can cause more complications during the delivery face than if labor was naturally started.

I was induced bc of high blood pressure. Usually inductions are done for those who need monitored closely. Some doctors will do them by request within a few days of your due date.

I have been induced with 3 of mine and getting induced on the 10th with number 4 mine have been due to small babies I have low PAPP A were my placenta doesn’t function properly other reasons pre eclampsia diabetes and other medical reasons they won’t just let you be induced Cos your done with being pregnant I’m afraid

My BP was too high with my first, so I was induced at 39 weeks. I’m 35+3 now and have twice weekly appts. They could take her at any time, but no later than 37 weeks due to BP and cholestasis.
