Any advice on latching.?

Soo I THOUGHT baby was latched on properly come to realize he is not. It hurts as he’s suckling and also when I remove him from the breast my nipple is all warped! He does seem satisfied tho cause he goes right to sleep and wakes up 3hrs later for another feed so I’m confused. I’ve looked up YouTube videos with real babies but I’m just having a hard time.

Baby doesn’t open his mouth the widest either and my nipples are fairly big.

I’m going to see a lactation consultant tomorrow but was wondering if any of you have any advice on how to get this latch on easier ?
