Help- engorged and won’t latch

My daughter is 5 days old and I am a FTM.

We were doing fantastic with breast feeding. She latched properly the first hour of being born and continued that way until our last night. I had an extended stay in the hospital and on the last night the nurse took the baby to nursery and didn’t bring her back for almost 10 hours. Giving her formula that whole time. The relief nurse for the morning was extremely upset because we were doing so well. She was going to “take care of” the situation with the other nurse.

They then sent us home. Now I can’t get her to latch on. And my breasts are engorged. I can’t get relief. I want her breastfed.

Please don’t tell me this is a lost cause. Any advice please.

Update: took advice from each person. Massages worked. Did skin to skin. Slowly but surely we are producing. My right still has problems. But it’s better. Thank you all
