Have come a long way...

I met this guy when we were in middle school. Started dating at 15, pregnant at 18, moved to a new city at 23, pregnant again at 28. We’ve definitely had our ups and downs and neither of us are anywhere near perfect but I’m proud that we have made it 14 years together. He’s even working full time as a salary employee managing a retail shop and if that isn’t enough he does door dash delivery on the side so I can stay home with our newborn son and our oldest son as well. I get to start going to school full time to pursue my nursing degree and as I sit here and reminiscence on all we have gone through it’s so true what I’ve once heard said “relationships aren’t easy but the best ones are worth it”. We’ve come so far over the years, we’ve grown up together and continue to try to support each other in our journeys to becoming better people.
