So yesterday I had my gender reveal. I'm my culture it's considered to celebrate or buy things for the baby until after they are born. Even then name is only told after he baby is born. Yesterday when I was with my family I told them I wanted to do a baby shower I told them the name and told them I want to buy and set up the nursery before the baby was born. Everyone was shocked and made me feel like if anything happens to me it's my fault. I'm American so for me all these things are fun and make me feel good. Now I'm having these horrible dreams that my child is going to die. I talked to my husband about it and he understood my point but said I should be more sensitive to the culture here. It just really piss me off. Anyone have similar cultures
