Is this a sign my Husband will be getting deployed?

Question

For the safety of him and his unit I wont be giving out information but I do want to know if these are signs of him getting sent on a deployment. His unit keeps talking about how their gonna be leaving on a deployment but nothing has been confirmed so its just a rumor. Im not sure if thats how it starts out or not. I’m preparing myself just incase it does happen.

This is how we found out my husband was getting deployed. So it’s a 50/50 chance I’d say. Prepare yourself but also it isn’t 100 until he gets those orders in hand.

Every unit my husband has ever been in has had talks about an upcoming deployment but none of them have ever actually ended up deploying. My husband was 8 years active and is now in the guard and hasn't deployed once.

My husbands unit is suppose to go active by 2019 because of their contract. They were told a few drills ago they were going this summer. However he just got word he wont ever go active, but that hes allowed to do a volunteer job somewhere. Its a blessing he'll be safe but it just goes to show that even words dont always make actions.

With military there's always some truth to a rumor .  It might not be as soon as their saying but around this time next year it might come back up.  Just always be prepared and expect the unexpected.

I’m telling you the military doesn’t even know anything until the last minute, so they probably don’t even know 😂. But if he does get deployed they are suppose to send him back because he’s entitled Paternity leave. So if his unit isn’t a POS he will be there for the birth!

Sounds about right. Rumors usually turn into the truth. My husband has been packed for 3 months now. They keep having different drills and trainings. About 3 weeks ago, there was a deployment meeting for spouses. And his sergeant keeps telling the guys to have their phones with them 24/7, sounds on, and check the group chats if anything. At this point, I’m just sitting here and waiting till he gets his call.

We found out through our local news, sat watching tv in Costa coffee and it came across the news channel that his unit was going, one thing I have learnt is the rumours are normally true 💕
