Herpangina/hfmd

So my 5 month old been sick as hell so i took her to children's and she has Herpangina/hands foot mouth disease!!! Can she die from this shit the drs said she can't but i googled it and the shit said yeah!!!:/ and if your babies ever had this how long did it take to go away and what did you do for them
