Hey everyone. Last June I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I'm 40 yrs old. I had a blighted ovum. This year we haven't been able to conceive again. Today I saw a fertility doctor. (I live in Algeria with my husband.) It's cycle day 12 for me and I'm die to ovulate in 2 days according to Glow. I'm extremely regular and have a 26 day cycle consistently every month.

She did an US and said she only saw "1 egg" (I'm assuming this means follicle.) and scheduled me for blood work on my next cycle, day 3. She gave me scripts for some androgen hormones, vitamins and folic acid.

She said it's not bad but it's not good.

I guess I'm just looking for some encouragement or something. I feel like a ticking time bomb who will be sterile soon.

Had anyone else had this experience at this age and ended up conceiving???
