My son got shots on Tuesday ( He’s about to be 2) I called his doctors and she told me to give him Motrin since he doesn’t have a fever so the swelling goes down. He woke up like this on Wednesday

And on today he woke up like this

His arm is super hot when to touch and it’s a little swollen and has a bruise also has this happen to your little ones?

Seems like he's having an allergic reaction to whatever shots he got. I would contact your doctor and see what's the safest med to give besidea the kind she just mentioned

You need to contact your doctor, tell them he woke up with red swelling around the shot. It's probably an allergic reaction. If it's painful tell them that as well. Hoping for the best

I was told If it get bad like that to take him back to the dr. He may he having an allergic reaction. You could try giving him benadryl

This happened to my sons leg I took him to the dr they said as long as it doesn’t get bigger and it doesn’t bug him he’s fine keep a eye on it... his may have got bigger if he was sleeping on his arm my sons did on his leg because of laying on his side .

The nurses always tell us to use ice packs for any red or discomfort but I agree with others and would see what the dr says. My boys always get their shots in the thigh, I didn't know they did arms at this age.
